Terms & Conditions

Watermark Hotel Brisbane is a fully licensed hotel and all guests must be over 18 years of age or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to enter any part of the hotel including accommodation. Guests may be requested to provide Photo ID as proof of age or may be refused accommodation with full cancellation terms applying.

Hotel FAQ's

Do guest rooms have Balconies?

Our Standard rooms have balconies which face Roma Street Parkland while our Superior rooms have balconies overlooking  the Spring Hill area. Deluxe and Executive Rooms do not have balconies.

Do I need my credit card to check in?

For prepaid bookings at check-in a credit card pre-authorization of $100.00 is required to guarantee any incidentals. If a credit card is not available, a current form of photographic addressed identification is required along with a cash deposit of $100.00 per room (This can be made with cash or via EFTPOS). For non prepaid bookings we also require a credit card to secure the full accommodation amount plus $100 for any incidentals. All non prepaid bookings must be secured with a credit card as we have a non cash policy for non prepaid bookings.  Any unused portion of this deposit will be refunded on departure.

Do you charge any commission or fees for credit card payments?

All credit card transactions will incur a 1.5% transaction charge. We accept Visa, MasterCard , Diners and Amex cards.

Do you have a gym?

No, however Roma Street Parkland is located across the road which is ideal for outdoor exercise and jogging. There is a Fitness First located 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

Do you have any cooking facilities?

No. We are a fully serviced hotel with a restaurant and bar with in-room dining. Our guest rooms do not include kitchen facilities, microwaves or toasters.

Do you have smoking rooms?

No. All rooms are non smoking. Our smoking area is outside of reception on the ground level.

Do you offer any airport transfers?

No, the hotel does not have an airport transfer service, however we can recommend a company that we use frequently . To arrange a transfer service via a third party transfer service visit www.con-x-ion.com.au.

Does the hotel have Internet access?

Yes, all rooms have WiFi access (charges may apply). We also offer free WiFi access in Park Rooms, the Park Suite, reception and in 551 Restaurant and Bar.

How do I cancel or make changes to my booking?

If you wish to cancel or modify your hotel booking, please contact reservations on (07) 5880 8545, for any travel agent or third party booking please contact the agent or company on your confirmation paperwork.

How far are you from major tourist attractions?

Brisbane CBD – 10 Minutes Walk
Southbank Parklands – 25 Minutes Walk
Suncorp Stadium – 15 Minutes Walk
Roma Street Parklands – 2 Minutes Walk
Queen Street Mall – 10 Minutes Walk
Brisbane Treasury Casino – 15 Minutes Walk
Between Monday and Friday, there is a free bus service (Spring Hill Loop) that services Spring Hill and Brisbane CBD, The Spring Hill loop bus stop is located outside of the hotel and operates between 8am- 6pm.

How much are local calls from the room?

Local calls start from 75 cents per call to landlines. Higher rates apply for mobile, STD and international calls.

How much do you charge for in-room movies?

The cost of in-room movies start from just $5.

How much does parking at the hotel cost?

Secure parking is $16.00 per car per night.

Is there a dress code for 551 Restaurant and bar?

Yes, smart casual attire with enclosed footwear is required.

Is there a laundry service in the hotel?

The hotel offers a self service coin operated laundry which is located in our service basement. A dry cleaning service is also available.

What are the pool opening hours?

Our pool is located on level 1 and is open from 9am to 9pm.

What is the cost of an additional person and rollaway bed?

Room rates are based on 2 people. For triple accommodation there is an additional fee of $30.00 per night which includes a rollaway bed. Our Budget, Standard and Superior Twin rooms cannot accommodate a rollaway bed. Standard and Budget rooms have a maximum occupancy of 2 people.  Children under the age of 12 years old are free if using existing bedding.

What is the distance from the airport?

Brisbane Domestic and International Airports are located 16km from the hotel.

What is the minimum age to check-in to the hotel?

There must be one guest per room over 18 years to check in.

What is your hotel room cancellation policy?

Cancellations received within 24 hours of arrival will incur a late cancellation fee of one night’s accommodation. Bookings made via third party agents / websites sites may have different cancellations policies or fees (Please refer to booking paperwork or confirmation).

What time is check-in? Can I check in early?

Check-in time is 2pm, however, if you arrive earlier, luggage storage is available and you’re welcome to utilize our hotel facilities. A request for early check-in can be made with Reservations but cannot be guaranteed and charges may apply.

What time is check-out? Is there a charge for late checkout?

Check out time is 10am. Depending on availability an extended checkout is available at a fee.
